Core Services
In response to challenging economic times and a business climate of frozen IT budgets unable to handle bursty spending, a foundation offering of professional services and free open source tools called Core was added to the NetCuro services portfolio.
Core is simply a 12-month commitment to a monthly purchase of a small amount of professional service hours at a substantially discounted rate, that roll over month to month to accumulate, never expire and can be used a month ahead of the prepaid monthly accumulated hours. In addition, Core includes secure archival cloud storage of network logs & documentation, a hosted dedicated Linux server instance on multifactor zero trust network access with a free tool set of open source NMS discovery/polling/mapping, log/flow/config collection, IPAM/inventory docs, secrets vault, automation, support platform and other tools.

Core bills monthly to a credit card, ACH or other payment method via Stripe. When ready to move on beyond Core, services can be upgraded to tiered MNS bundles or with al a cart services such as commercial NMS packages, 24x7 NOC and/or SIEM/SOC, etc.

Professional Services
Upon request, NetCuro provides time & materials (T&M) hourly-rate pay-as-you-go network professional services. Actual hours are billed in quarter hour increments with no minimum against a retainer that can be supplemented at any time.
Other Services
Defined-scope engagement requests with a fixed prices and/or ballpark estimates are bundled on a Statement of Work (SOW) basis.
Announcements
Splitting services and software, NetCuro will continue providing variations of professional services while the new spin-off Dregn Inc. venture pursues the long intensive R&D roadmap to turn years of software ideas into a separate network tools SaaS platform with anticipated beta release in 2024.

Company Profile
NetCuro ("Net" for Networking, "Curo" is Latin for "to tend to") is a new startup company based on the concept of pure managed network services without being tied to product sales or traditional business models. No matter what the network pain points, supplier logistics & vendor choices or span of the network evolution journey, NetCuro's alignment with next generation network support best practices and holistic complete network care aims to move the needle on effective network support.
- In 2014, NetCuro started as a remote monitoring and support lab experiment at a hyperlocal network consulting sister company.
- In 2015, NetCuro spun off as its own company and quietly began R&D work to build a managed network services offering.
- In 2016, data center colo cabinets were spun up with hypervisor servers, storage, twin gig feeds and a cloud provider for hybrid DR/scaling.
- From 2017 to 2018, a proof of concept dogfooding build for one network environment yielded a lot of trial & error learning experiences.
- In 2019, NetCuro completely retooled almost everything including new vendors for NMS, NOC, SOC, ticket/ITSM system, etc. for a 2020 pilot launch.
- From 2020 to 2021, launch was disrupted by the pandemic, development slowed and investors curtailed. MNS remained in pilot customer stage.
- In 2022, NetCuro's response to a challenging business climate was Core and T&M professional services. MNS software ideas spun off as a new venture.
- In 2023, NetCuro ceased R&D work to focus on just professional services. Dregn assumed the multi-year SaaS development roadmap.
